This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refunds are handled for schools using the StreamIQ platform. This policy forms part of and should be read together with the StreamIQ Terms and Conditions.
By using StreamIQ, the School (“Client”, “You”) agrees to the terms set out below.
This policy applies only to payments made by schools to StreamIQ for optional services.
This policy does not apply to:
School fees paid by parents or learners
Payments processed via third-party gateways
Financial arrangements between schools and parents
The StreamIQ school management system is 100% free
No subscription, billing, or usage fees apply to the core platform
Schools may use all core features at no cost
StreamIQ offers an optional AI Management System:
Cost: R2,000 per month
Includes: Full access to all AI features
No hidden fees
Subscription is entirely optional
Schools may cancel by:
Emailing: streamiq@keyys.co.za
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month
No partial-month cancellations apply
AI features will be deactivated
Core platform access remains unaffected (free)
Monthly AI subscription fees are non-refundable once billed
If a service issue occurs:
Must be reported before the billing period ends
StreamIQ may provide:
Fixes
Service credits
Billing adjustments
Refunds may be considered for:
Platform-wide failures
Verified system errors
Legal requirements
Approved refunds:
Processed via original payment method
Exclude third-party fees
AI features may be suspended for non-payment
Continued non-payment may result in termination of AI access
Core platform remains accessible
Schools may request data access (subject to feasibility)
Data handled per POPIA requirements
Export requests should be made before cancellation
StreamIQ is not liable for:
Indirect losses from cancellations
Financial losses due to non-use
StreamIQ may update this policy. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
